Editing
Homelessbus.org / Non-profit marketing
I edited this from raw footage provided to me by the founder of this organization. It was used on their website to raise awareness and to fundraise.
What Not to Say to a Teacher / Teachers College
A series of three videos I shot and edited for my close friend, Kathy Collins. They have been used in her presentations to hundreds of teachers during Summer Institutes for "The Reading & Writing Project" at Teachers College in NYC. They've been a big hit with teachers for the new school year--accumulating more than 37,000 views on YouTube.
Homecoming Project / Live Out Loud
My close friend, Antuan Raimone participated in Live Out Loud's Homecoming Project. He takes us on a personal journey back to his high school to speak to LGBT students. Using a combination of interviews and broll that I shot and flipcam footage from Antuan, I edited a series of 4 videos released on Live Out Loud's website. This is a compilation of the finished videos. It was also featured on QUEERTY.com.
Unforgettable Memorial Day / Wyomissing, PA
The organizer of the Memorial Day Parade in Wyomissing, PA is a friend of mine. He asked me to record the events of the day. He arranged for a special ceremony for one particular Gold Star mother. I was proud to shoot and edit this and it became a local must-see video with more than 3,000 views on YouTube.
CITYARTS / Gala Presentation
For several years I produced the annual gala video for Cityarts. Cityarts is a non-profit organization that creates public art in New York City. What started as a sit-down, on-camera interview for a :30 PSA with the executive director turned into a marketing piece that served as a main fundraising tool.
The Gathering Place / Documentary
A documenatry I shot, produced and edited while in the M.S. Television-Radio-Film program at Syracuse University. This was created on student equipment before the age of non-linear editing and HD video. This aired on WCNY, the PBS affiliate in Syracuse. It was seen as a novel take on a controversial yet popular landmark.
